New Officers!

Well our closing social went great, we had a great turn out and we voted on next year's officers! The new officers are on the upper right of this page - if you roll over the name you can see their email address on the bottom left tool bar.

We have now moved the past officers and club members to the Alumni column on the right of the page. This has the contact information and PT school (if applicable) for past club members. This will be a great way to keep in touch with those that have gotten into schools - especially if you have questions or concerns about the application process or classes that they took at Utah State.

Good Luck next year!

Jazz Game!

On February 27th the Pre-Physical Therapy Club went to the Jazz game down in Salt Lake. Curt worked very hard to be able to get us to meet with one of the athletic trainers for the Jazz - Brian Zettler. It was so much fun - and we were even on the JUMBO-TRON! ALL OF US!! Lucky section 110. We even got to see the Jazz Bear help some guy propose to his girlfriend - just a little word of advice, if you're going to propose maybe spring for the more expensive seats and not the upper upper upper bowl.Brian is going to be a great connection in the years to come. We got these little backstage passes and got to go sit court side after the game to talk with him about his career and how he got there. He took us by the team locker rooms and in the 'underground' area - although we didn't get to go IN to the locker rooms (heh heh), we did see some of the players walking around down there.

Brian felt bad that we weren't able to see everything around the facility, so he offered to give us a tour of Energy Solutions Area and the Jazz training facility if we set up another appointment with him. He is such a great guy. Next year the club definitely needs to take advantage of this 'hook up' because Brian is more than willing to give us VIP status and show us everything the Jazz have to offer.

It was SUCH a good game and such a great experience. We played the Pistons and ended up winning 103-95. Don't ask me how we pulled that one off - we were down by 18 at one point! ...But I guess all you can say is...GO JAZZ!

Closing Social

The closing social will be held on

Thursday April 17 at 8:00 pm

We will be meeting in HPER 114 with food and drinks of course!

This is an important social to come to because we will be voting on the leadership for next year. If you are interested in taking part in this please contact Curt so he can get an accurate count.

Let's end this year with some fun!

Welcome!

Hello Fellow Aggies!

Welcome to the debut of the Pre-PT Club Blog. This will be a resource to gain information regarding activities, service opportunities, and the application process for PT School.

As you know, many of us will be leaving this year and new leadership will be established. Let this be your opportunity to get involved! It will also be a great thing to put on your resume. Being a part of the PT Club has enabled many great opportunities for me - make the effort to be a part of it this coming year and take part in something fun and new!
