Closing Social 2009

Hope everybody had a good year! Thursday April 16th we will be holding our closing social for the year. It will be held in the HPER @7pm. It will be important for everybody to show up because we will be electing new officers for 2009-2010.

U of U PT Program visit 2008

Though getting there was hectic, Our visit as a club to the university of Utah's Physical Therapy program was a success. There was a lot of good information given about the application process and how students are chosen for their program. They were kind enough to provide us with pizza and a tour of the facilities as well. For those of you who were unable to make it, if you have any questions about the program at the U, you could ask anybody that went (see picture below). Stay tuned for upcoming service projects or trips!

U of U Tour

The time has arrived! We have the unique oppertunity to tour the Uof U PT program on Thursday Nov. 13th at 6:00pm! Come see what the U has to offer. This is a good oppertunity to obtain information for those preparing to apply. And for those applying this year this will be a great oppertunity to get to know the program before you interview this winter. Opening Social

Thanks for all of those that attended the opening social. We had good food and good company. Remember this is only the beginning, we will do many fun things this year, and many of those things will help you in applying for PT school. Please e-mail Joe or Candace (hold your mouse over their names to the right of your screen and you will see their e-mail address appear at the bottom-left part of your screen above the task bar.) if you have any service ideas, or any other ideas that you would like to see incorporated into the Pre-PT club. Opening Social

The USU Pre-Physical Therapy Club would like to invite everybody out to this years opening social. It will be held Thursday, September 4th at Adams park (just west of campus between 5th and 6th North) There we will talk about the exciting plans we have for the upcoming year. We will also have food and games! Please bring anybody you know that is interesting in Physical Therapy, and spread the word! If you would like to join the club, please bring the club fee of $5 ($10 if you would like a club t-shirt). Hope to see you there!

Welcome Back!

Welcome Back Pre-PT Students! There will be a meeting this Thursday for all of those interested in helping plan the upcoming year. We will be meeting in the HPER Building, room 114 at 5:00 p.m. Bring with you any ideas of what you would like to do this year. We will see you there!

New Officers!

Well our closing social went great, we had a great turn out and we voted on next year's officers! The new officers are on the upper right of this page - if you roll over the name you can see their email address on the bottom left tool bar.

We have now moved the past officers and club members to the Alumni column on the right of the page. This has the contact information and PT school (if applicable) for past club members. This will be a great way to keep in touch with those that have gotten into schools - especially if you have questions or concerns about the application process or classes that they took at Utah State.
